Order Processing
We understand and appreciate the importance of the delivery service you need/expect and feel confident we can satisfy your requirements. To enable us to maintain an efficient and reliable service we have a dedicated late shift whose sole responsibility is to process orders and load them onto our fleet of delivery vehicles. This means that the vehicles are able to depart our premises at 7.30am the following working day.
Delivery Promises
We will, at the time of ordering, confirm the delivery date for your acceptance. Where material is Ex. Stock (currently we hold 2000 tonnes of steel in stock) orders placed by 5.00pm will be delivered the next working day. To ensure delivery promises are met and to effectively deal with any problems that may arise, all our drivers are equipped with a mobile phone.
For material required which is ‘Due In’ to us, we will be clear and precise with our delivery promises and will not misrepresent the facts. In the unlikely event of our not being able to meet a promised delivery, we will notify you immediately it is known and in good time.
Cutting Facilities
We offer a cut to length service supported by one manual band saw and two sophisticated computer controlled saws, capable of cutting to very precise tolerances. This provides an extremely fast processing time for anything from single bars to 2 tonne bundles of most products. Heavy sections, such as beams, channels, columns and joists can be cut same day or overnight. These sections are stocked in long lengths to offer you the convenience of steel cut to your required length with no scrap. Cutting of material prior to delivery can often be more cost effective to you than processing the material yourself.
